Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Taj Mahal Restaurant

In our travels over the years, it has always interested us how Chinese, Indian, Thai and Italian food in different countries has developed.  What we have found is that the cusine is brought to the country by the hard working immigrants but the food is adjusted to each country's taste.  For example, I have never gotten anything resembling General Tsos chicken here in Europe.
I was having an Indian food craving and we decided to try out the
Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal restaurant has the two cars parked in front of it.

The entrance to the Taj Mahal.

The brightly colored dips were not at all what we were used to from restaurants in England and America but they tasted wonderful.

The kids had lamb biriyani and lamb tiki masala.

Mac and I had lamb and duck in the same kind of mild curry sauce.
Very nice.

Little Jonah loved the purple and green dipping sauces.  Here he is helping himself.
He's very intent on getting his full "taste" experience.

Mac gives the Taj Mahal two thumbs up.  Their English was very good, they were excellent with children and it was lovely Indian food at a good price.
